Avalon, located in Southern New Jersey is a family-oriented vacation shore community. Aside from a beautiful
beach, Avalon offers fishing and crabbing, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, sports camps, lots of fine
restaurants and shops and family activities.
The sport camps are for baseball, lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, basketball and wrestling at the Community Hall, Avalon.
Tennis is available at 12th, 80th and 96th streets. Swimming is available throughout 7-Mile Island beacches. there
are surfing beaches for surfers. Call the Avalon Community Center for gym hours, youth activities, and swimming lessons

Avalon and Stone Harbor are home to casual to elegant dining restaurants. Close by are shows and casinos in Atlantic City,
or visit the shops on the quiet streets of Cape May after dining in the fine cuisine restaurants. Cape May is home to
old elegant Victorian homes or friendly taverns in Cape May Court House.
Only twenty minutes away is the Wildwood Boardwalk, offering exciting games and rides. Ocean City boardwalk is also
nearby.
